Bio

Kristie has been the digital programming manager at Food Network for over six years. When she’s not writing cooking articles and recipe roundups, she’s making sure that all the great content that comes from Food Network’s test kitchen and editorial team is promoted in lots of places (think: website, newsletters and Apple News). You’ll find her work online at Delish and The Daily Meal as well as in print in Oxford University Press’s Savoring Gotham.

Experience

Pastry cook at 21 Club (including private events and a la carte service), helped open Gansevoort 69, pastry cook at Gansevoort 69, baked and decorated dozens of cakes and desserts for weddings and private events.

Education

Graduate of the French Culinary Institute (now known as the Institute of Culinary Education), a professional pastry arts program that consists of more than 400 instructional hours and 210 externship hours. MA in Food Studies, with a concentration in Food and Culture, from NYU.
