Sometimes in life, you unexpectedly need a pizza delivered — stat. A host of pizza-emergency scenarios pop to mind, from burned-on-the-stovetop dinner party mishaps to a pick-me-up after a long day.
It is precisely for moments like these that Domino’s Emergency Pizza program is launching for a second year. The program offers customers a voucher for a free medium, two-topping pizza “to use whenever they need it most.”
To snag an Emergency Pizza, customers must place a delivery online or digital carryout order of at least $7.99, between now and January 19, 2025. Then, after the order is confirmed, they’ll automatically receive a Domino’s Emergency Pizza under “My Deals & Rewards” in their Domino’s Rewards account. (Yes, you have to either be a rewards member to claim the deal. You can sign up to become one here.)
Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president, chief brand officer, says the success of last year’s inaugural Emergency Pizza program prompted the company to bring it back “in a big way” this year.
“Life can throw unexpected curveballs, and sometimes a hot, delicious pizza is just what you need to turn things around,” Trumbull says in a statement. “Maybe you tested a new dinner recipe that turned out to be a disaster, or perhaps you ran out of time to buy groceries – whatever your emergency, Domino’s is here to help with a free pizza.”

The pizza company is also expanding the program this year with two new, very different partnerships. It’s teaming up with Amazon’s Twitch to integrate the Emergency Pizza into the new Fortnite game, The Glitch, and with nail-salon services company Olive & June to offer manicure-supply deals starting on October 17.
Because, arguably, the only thing better than pizza when you need it most is, well, free pizza.
