Combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl and beat with a mixer until there are no lumps and the mixture is smooth. Add the mustard, wine, seafood seasoning, 1 teaspoon pepper, the mace and lemon juice and mix together. Add the crabmeat, carefully folding it into the mixture and trying not to break up the crab. Season to taste with salt.
Spoon the crab mixture onto toasted baguette slices and sprinkle with additional seafood seasoning to taste. Garnish with chopped scallions, if desired.
