
Bio
As Food Network's Resident Sommelier for more than six years, Dana is here to help you discover the beverages that pair best with your favorite meals. She is a food and wine educator and Emmy-winning producer. She leverages her background as a trained chef and sommelier to entertain and empower people to take life in big bites. She built her career teaching celebrity chefs to cook on camera, including over 20 seasons of Food Network's The Kitchen. Now Dana is the force behind the culinary creative agency Dine With Dana and can be found teaching food and wine classes at Sommelier Society of America, Astor Wine Center and restaurants across the country. Her work can be seen in Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Forbes, Simply Recipes and Wine Enthusiast. Dana is based in NYC but happiest traveling to new places - with a chef’s knife, wine opener and camera in hand.

Experience
Dana has nearly 20 years of hospitality experience, having trained in 8 countries and 3 Michelin star restaurants, including the #1 restaurant in the world, El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain. She has spent the last decade in food media, telling stories of culture, travel and joy through food and wine. In 2022, she founded DWD Productions, a culinary creative agency offering hospitality consulting services, cross-platform media production and curated tasting events. Her client roster includes Before AI, Conde Nast, Macy’s, Tropicana and Weber Grills.
Education
Dana earned her MBA in Hospitality from Cornell University, where she also served as faculty, teaching food and beverages classes at the distinguished Hotel School. Dana also holds two Bachelor's degrees from Johnson & Wales University and an Advanced Diploma through The Wine & Spirits Education Trust based in London, England. She co-chairs the Associate Board of Food Education Fund, which supports hospitality education in NYC public high schools, and serves on the Industry Advisory Council of Johnson & Wales University.
