When we plan for the holiday season, we know its going to involve a lot of shopping and prepping and cooking – and for that reason, we divvy up the responsibilities and accept help wherever possible. This year, that help may just come in the form of making a fresh, hot seasonal dessert – but with some help from cult-favorite Bonne Maman.

Those festive dinners are laden with bountiful dishes and sides, but it’s important to always leave room for dessert – and, when it comes to Thanksgiving, that dessert is most often pie with a delicious seasonal filling. Just in time, Bonne Maman, long known for its fruit preserves, has announced it’s getting into the pie fillings category.

The new pie fillings will come in 21.1-ounce glass jars in a choice of apple, blueberry or cherry – all perfect choices for Thanksgiving dinner – and much like the famous preserves that have been around for as long as we can remember, are made with simple, natural ingredients, and no high-fructose corn syrup or preservatives.

This is a great timesaver for making that holiday dessert, as all it involves is adding it to a go-to pie crust recipe and baking. Just choose your favorite of the three flavor options, then pour that whole jar directly into a pie crust – whether you go store-bought or homemade is up to you and no one will ever know one way or the other. If you want to jazz things up a bit, garnish with nuts, streusel, warm spices or a top crust before baking.

The ready-to-bake pie fillings will be available for purchase on BonneMaman.us and at select retailers nationwide at a suggested retail price of $9.99.
